How much does it cost to set up a company in Bahrain?
From BHD 1,340 (Standard), BHD 1,700 (Gold) or BHD 2,150 (Premium), plus government CR fees of approximately BHD 432 through Sijilat. Total first-year cost is typically BHD 1,772 to BHD 2,582 for a standard WLL.
What exactly is included in the price?
CR registration, bank-ready MOA & AOA, board resolution, company profile and business plan, virtual office, and a bank account introduction — all in one quoted price. Government fees are the only addition.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. Government fees are published and uniform through Sijilat 3.0. The only variable fees are activity licensing and external approvals for regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare or education.
Is the share capital a fee?
No — capital is your company's asset, not a cost. The legal minimum for a WLL is BHD 1, but BHD 1,000 is recommended for smoother bank account opening.
Can I set up without flying to Bahrain?
Yes. We complete the setup remotely under a Power of Attorney, which is included. You only need to provide documents and, for some banks, attend a short verification.
How long does it take?
CR registration takes 1–3 business days; the full process including bank account is typically 15–20 business days (25–30 days end-to-end with visa).
